Pictured: Mini Chaise Lounge Telephone Chair
I now live alone and need furniture and dare I say it, this would look darling under my bookcase. Find me one in a close geographical location to Bristol, and for a prince no more that £50, and you'll win a signed...technical drawing or something equally as shit.
...although rumour has it someone has just bought me one.

ANd you would like this... oddity... because your grandmama comes often to visit and complains she has no place to sit? You're turning into Quentin Crisp? I'm not a designer, it's true, but I just don't see it. Erm... good for phone sex, I suppose, if you put a towel down,
Hmmm. Maybe in a darker wood, with a dark red or green velvet, then we might be on to something.
Like anyone uses landlines any more anyway.
If you own this piece, you have a land line. Trust me.
Too late, I own one, in golden velvet. My desk is faux yew, and this is mahogany I wonder how the two will go together.
I think it's a beautiful, unusual piece, but then I'm partial to Victorian furniture. I assume yours is not a reproduction--you're much too classy for that.
This is turning into the Antiques Roadshow. Eric Knowles eat your heart out.
